There were several lice outbreaks at my school and I needed something to cover my head to help protect myself from the spread. The patterns and colors were exactly as I expected. They are silky soft and very user friendly - I was wrapping and covering my hair and head for four weeks. I have thick curly hair and these were big enough to accommodate all of my hair (when I put my hair up - it wouldn't have covered all of my hair if I had left my hair down). They are also large enough to use for a variety of purposes. Due to the silky texture they could be a little slippery, but not to an extent that made them difficult for me to use.
