I purchased this insert for my newborn. I was disappointed that the swing didnโ€™t come with one because the swing is so expensive. It is a good addition to the swing but itโ€™s priced too high. It should be like $20.

I ordered this at the same time as the swing. After putting the swing together I am returning this insert. My baby is a month old and about 9 pounds. He can't hold his head up yet but I am fully comfortable having him in the swing without the insert.

My son would not let us put him in the Mamaroo without crying before but now he sits in it (for at least a little while). He likes soft blankets so this helped to comfort him. I thought there were two different cushions but its just reversible. I threw it right in the wash using my baby detergent. It was very easy to clean. ... show more

    • Soft insert, not supportive of newborn heads
Perfect for my mamaroo! My baby always has a blowout so this is an easy way to keep my rocker clean. I use vinegar baking soda and dish soap to pretreat any accidents. Then I just throw it into the washer. This does not support newborn heads so if that is your intention, be aware.

The pictures showed the insert in the rocker. I thought I had ordered what I needed, but I only got the insert. Anyway I'm a guy and it's my fault I ordered the wrong one. But I have a 6 week old and when I explained this to my baby momma. Well I got in trouble I'm wasting money buy stupid things again on Amazon. I told her it's no big deall, I'll just order the right one and save the insert for the next kid. I was trying to justify my purchase. ( I don't want another kid, I was joking.) I like the insert but the description states it is a 2 pack but itโ€™s only one. If I would have known that I would have purchased one for cheaper.
