  • The best Pro-beginner drone ever to buy with a decent price!!!
The 4drc Drone is a wonderful drone. It comes in awesome package and suitcase. It has a great camera. The installation of the drone is very simple. The letters in the manual could've been alittle bigger though. But I couldn't have been more happier with the whole set-up. It's advertisements is just as it said it was gonna be. Also delivery time was very quick!!!. I actually got my drone in less than 24hrs. The batteries are actually great, but of course they're still new. I just finally checked the wi-fi connection to drone to phone using the 4drc drone app and it works just wonderful. It only took about 30 seconds to connect from phone app to drone. So far since I've been highly busy I've only done quick take offs and been testing the batteries, apps, GPS, auto take-off and return. Today, after the rain I'll be taking "Danny" the Drone out for a full flight right until the battery dies. I very glad that I picked this particular drone. The app shows on my phone so cleary. All the buttons actually work and fully functionable. ... show more

  • 😞 drone out of control. Had it for 7 min before it was garbage.
Pretty sad moment. I loved the look of this drone. Like eyes at the front. I'm not a professional drone flyer, but I usually can control them enough to not break them. But iv never had one do what this one did, unless they were little kid cheapo ones That are all over the place. I got it all set up and was so excited . Got the camera turned on ready to go. I was excited about the fairly great camera picture. Took off from the ground slowly to hover just to get a feel for it. It seemed to hover very smooth at first I was able to hover back and forward , and I was like hmm I think this will be a really good drone . And out of nowhere it starts drifting pretty radially. I had it about 2 maybe 3 ft off the ground so I pushed the two emergency stop buttons and it would not turn off so I was pushing the throttle down and holding it over and over, and about the 4th time finally it went off. I was confused what the heck happened. So I reread the instructions on the safety stop. I was doing it right. while I just had it sitting on the ground running but not flying, everytime I did the safety stop it imidatly cut off and was good. So I got it in the air again about 6 feet gave it more room, did some rotations. Seemed ok again. And suddenly once again Out of nowhere it drastically changed and started going to one side so I cut the throttle but it was still cutting fast to one side. I tried to do two trigger emergency stop and it would not shut off. By this time it hit the mailbox flipped over and was still trying to spin. So I hurry and pulled the battery out. Blades were pretty beat up so I changed the one that had a chunk out of it. I'm glad it came with some spares. But when I tried it again the 2 of 4 motors were making weird sounds. So I looked In and the gears were stripped out in alot of of the teeth On 3 of the motors and the new drown is scratched to crap. I was going to order some new gears and see if they could be replaced but it takes a month to get them from China. So I just started researching other brands and bought a different drone. Cause I didn't want to wait before being able to fly again. I haven't had major wrecks with the new one. 135$ down the drain . I have a big fixed wing vivitar that Flys steady as ever. So I don't know what the deal was with this particular one. But I don't think I'll be recommending 4d anymore. ... show more

  • Fun but costly
The drone comes with a very neat carrying case, two batteries, two set of extra props, a usb cable specific to the batteries, and one remote control. The instructions read as if they were translated with the worst translation program ever, and when I finally started to understand how to use the device, I discovered that it has its own wi-fi signal, which couldn’t be read by any of my 3 Android devices. I had to therefore go out and purchase an IPhone for another $200 just to be able to get the drone to fly for me. Also, I drained both of my batteries lives, so that I could get a really good full charge on them, and this has caused them to not be able to be charged at all. The props are very fragile, and just a small little break in one causes the drone to fly drastically different than with new props, so I had to go purchase new ones. I am writing this review so that I can get the “free” battery offer, just so I can fly it again, but I still have to purchase 2 new batteries for $30+tx each. So far, I am into what was supposed to be a $150 purchase for just over $400, without buying the batteries. Moves a little fast, so if you are a beginner, make sure you fly with lots of open space around you. The remote is fairly easy to understand, and when the batteries work, the battery life is “ok” for what it is running. Beside the price tag, I have had lots of fun flying my drone, and think it’s a great purchase for anyone who is starting to get into drone hobbying! ... show more

  • Great for a budget drone.
I have to get a different phone the app didn't work with either of my Motorola E series phones but a friend gifted me a Galaxy S7 and it worked great. If you have a budget phone be aware the app might not work. I flew it around the building I live in as the maiden flight. It worked great. I flew it for nearly half an hour on one battery. I do not regret this purchase. ... show more

  • It's an ok drone.
I see alot of people saying unable to connect...thats the easy part. I hope they realize it doesn't actually connect like if you are using wifi. It connects but there isn't any service like wifi. As long as it's connected it will work. I think people are expecting to see it say connect/or like having service.. it has to be connected before you do any of the calibrations.. it is really a good beginner drone.. The GPS is pretty good..but if the GPS mode is off it's harder to fly..it will just go in any direction so you'll have to control it vs when the GPS mode is on it will hover in place...so its not good for indoors because if no signal and you fly it and you're not that good with it you will definitely fly it into the wall. The issue I have with it is that the battery said 60min so 30 min each battery..one reason I bought it because that is a good fly time and having 2 batteries. But after exchanging it I realize I don't think the battery last 30min each...10-15 min max..unless I just happen to try 2 different ones that didn't have good batteries. So right now I'm trying to decide on if I should just keep or return... ... show more
