I travel for a living and take injections. The frozen insert does everything it claims, keeps my medicine at the cold through even the longest airline delays, even in this summer’s intense heat. The true test is when I got to my latest destination and the refrigerator was broken. I used the cooling top for the first time and I’m blown away. It’s been a full day, my frozen insert is still completely frozen due to the cooling top and my medication is still safe. This was an amazing product that kept my medicine cold for 13 hours of traveling by plane. Then when I didn’t have access to a freezer when I flew to another city a few days later, I plugged in a battery pack and it kept it cold until my next destination. Worked great through TSA. Very happy with my purchase.

Hi there, I highly rate this product. It was expansive from a New Zeakand dollar conversion perspective . The product kept my insulin at correct temperature while flying from NZ to New York (17 hours) and from Scotland via New York / Houston to New Zeakand (32 hour travel). I was concerned the product would not work but it did the job with no issues.

This product is the best I have used for USB refrigeration or with the ice pack. I have had it plugged-in for several weeks and it is going strong. One thing you need to know is that it is very large and it is heavy. You absolutely need to take your medications in your carry-on, but the weight and size of this cooler may make some people think twice. The ice pack stays cold for a long time. In fact, I worry a bit because it seems too cold. However, if you are using the ice pack it doesn't leave much room for the "Pens". I fit only one in.. I think this product would be improved with a slightly thinner ice pack. You could keep an infinite number of vials in this travel cooler with the ice pack. When I use the plug-in cooler I am able to fit six "Pens" and a small vial. Overall, it is a very good product that I highly recommend.

Took this product on a 3-werk trip and it kept my medication cool even when I couldn't plug it in. At one point I didn't have the insert frozen (refrigerated ‐ no freezer access) and it stayed cold for the couple of travel hours I needed. I used it with the insert and the fan while flying and it worked perfectly. The only minor suggestion I would make is to ensure you have a longer USB-C adapter cord if using in an area where space is limited. I always have extra lengths when traveling, so it was no issue for me. If it had to sit in the floor by your seat, some airlines may object.

This product works so well. I used the standard lid to travel from LAX to Narita. The freezer Insert was still semi frozen when we arrived at the Airbnb - 24+ hours later. The motor kept the medicine cold when I didn’t have a refrigerator. Great product and worth the money!!
