I have a Steam Deck OLED that I love. It uses a lot of power though, so I like to keep it plugged in while I am playing it. I work from home so I don't have a commute and therefore I leave it plugged in pretty much all the time. I do like to play in bed at night and I also like to play in different rooms around the house so I decided to buy an extra charger. So naturally, the Steam branded charger is sold out everywhere and trying to find a charger that "works" with the Steam Deck OLED specifically was a special sort of challenge. I have been using this for weeks and it works perfectly. It doesn't cause any issues with the device such as crashing or locking up or refusing to charge or anything like that. You just plug it in and it works just like the charger that came with the deck. The price is good, the technology is solid, the cord is nice and long and it feels like it has the right thickness to it. Worked really well for three weeks. Used on Steamdeck and Pixel 7. Then it stopped charging. Tested multiple devices and outlets, with and without the elbow plug. Edit: Their support team promptly reached out and provided a refund. Great service. Just with my item hadn't been defective.
