This is a must have item for anyone that has multiple devices that need charging. Whether you are traveling or just need a at home station, this fast charging block works great. And, it does not get hot like others I have purchased. Highly recommend!

    • Wattage limitation and non-folding prongs limit utility.
Size: 2-Standard
Bottom line up front: These are decent backups for devices requiring relatively low wattage. They will not effectively charge a moren laptop, steamdeck, and your phone will likely charge much slower than with the charger it came with. The prongs don't fold, and that makes me wary to actually travel with it. The good: The device is of mid-tier construction quality. It doesn't feel flimsy, but it's also that type of plastic that is likely to crack and break if dropped hard enough. It's comparatively inexpensive (on sale) and is a substantial upgrade over those $10 chargers. You can charge multiple devices at once, and I could definitely see keeping this in the car or the office to use in a pinch. The bad: It doesn't appear to do anything particularly well, and you're within $10 of purchasing a charger with better build quality and utility. The prongs don't fold, the plastic feels like it's prone to shattering (though mine has not - to be clear). I also have concerns about heat dissipation. The wattage is split, so you'll never get over 20 watts. To be clear, most devices spread the wattage out, so if you have two high-watt devices plugged in each will charge more slowly. My point is that you will never get the full 40 watts out of any socket, regardless of other devices being plugged in. This is a pretty huge limitation. It was never going to be enough to charge a laptop, but there are a number of devices that might charge effectively at 40 Watts. At a 20 watt limit, you're kinda limited to trickle charging more powerful devices (turned off and taking several hours) or only using them with older cell phones. Overall, it's a decent impulse buy, but there are more capable options within the MSRP price range. ... show more

This is the first block that I actually love, it replaced 3 separate blocks that I use for nighttime charging. 2 iPhones take different cords plus my watch and vaping device and now I can charge at the same time thanks to this charging block. The USB-A ports is what I use for my watch and other things that don't really need a faster charge. The 2 pack is very convenient but being white I don't think that I'll be taking one to work for fear of it turning black within a month or maybe less, I work in a factory, and it has never really been clean. I have seen some of the white blocks and cords at work and most are a dark gray, so I'll just store the second in a drawer for when I need it. So, so far it has been great! ... show more
