  • Terrible for mixing.
Terrible. If these were not specifically called "mixing cups" my review would be higher (ex medicine cups, pill cups etc). I purchased these specifically for mixing paint and epoxy and they are terrible. How? They have nibs every 1/4" way around on the inside. They make it impossible to clean the sides and stir with catching the mixing stick and flicking product all over. If you are using a large stirrer and don't care about thorough mixing, they might work OK. In fairness, the actual quality is good, numbers are legible and the bottoms are flat, but the nibs jutting out inside the cups is a complete deal breaker for me. ... show more

  • Recieved used cups.
The cups I recieved were NOT NEW.. I recieved someone else's used cups that obviously had been used and cleaned as there are fingerprints, scratches left over from abrasive cleaning and leftover epoxy residue in the bottom of the cups. At first I thought the residue was plastic left over from the manufacturing process but upon closer inspection, I held them up to a light, I noticed that it was epoxy residue. Attached is an image of comparison to a new cup vs what I recieved. I guess I can still use them but that's not what I wanted. If I wanted used cups, I'd reuse my own which I do. First two pictures are cups I recieved. Last two are brand new cups from hobby lobby. ... show more

  • Not good for resin
Bought them for mixing resin. The markings are on the inside so my stirring sticks catches every time. Once the resin is poured the numbers disappear. I end up marking a line with a sharpie to mix the correct volume. Trying to get the resin out, they break very easily if you press. I have broken several. ... show more

  • Great for measuring out quantities of liquids, holding pills, etc.
We use these cups for the following items: 1) to allow our autistic son to measure his salad dressing so he does not put half a bottle on his salad. 2) I take 1 oz of beet juice every morning 3) we give our son his daily meds in one of these. So many uses. I really like the different gradations: Oz, TBS, CC, etc. ... show more

  • Get out your reading glasses
I bought these for resin as they are a pretty good size for small jobs. However, I found that the cups were a little cloudier than expected making it hard to read the measurements. You really have to have it under the light and with a clean background to read it. I really wish the lines were black or colored to make it easier to read, as these lines just disappear once you pour your resin into the cup. As stated by others, the ridges and impressions from the measurements are on the inside of the cup, and the outside of the cup is smooth. For mixing, you would want the inside to be smooth. I didn't notice much of an issue when mixing however, but it does sort of trap your resin up along the sides amongst the measurements just a little. For their intended purpose of medicine cups, they may be just fine, as long as you have good eye sight. The measurements are in ounces, marked at 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and 1 oz. , Drams, marked at 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 drams, CC and ML, marked 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, 15, 20, 25, and 30 and tablespoons, marked at 1/2 teaspoon, 1 tsp, 1 DSSP, 1TBS, and 2TBS ... show more

  • Flimsy for use with epoxy
Everything was great until I poured epoxy in the cup for the first time using this brand. The cup bends and is much thinner than the cups I had been using. The numbers disappear as you pour the clear epoxy into the cup, so I've had to draw a measurement line inside each cup before using, which is a huge pain the butt. I have 400 cups I now have to do this with. The brim at the top of my other medicine cup helps stabilize the cup as you mix so it doesn't fold in on itself and then you drop it. Pics attached to compare. This brand is on the right, and my previous brand through Medline is on the left. ... show more

  • Good price for quantity.
There were a lot of bad reviews for this item. These cups have tickmarks inside the bottom of cups. I don't mind it because all the kits I've gotten have had the same cups. It is hard to see the measurements. I bend at eye level to see it. Or I'll put a sharpie line on the outsode of the cup to mark the measurements im going for. I didn't buy these to reuse them. I throw them away after 1st use because thats why I ordered 400 of them. I just don't like cleaning them up after putting epoxy in them. Too messy. ... show more

  • Not for resin or epoxy
The major problem with these cups is the lines inside the cup, they are so irritating when your stirring you can feel the spatula skipping around, I almost lost some of my mix a few times. I do not recommend for epoxy mixing since the grooves could throw off a proper mix
