Although they are listed as "silk", they are actually poly so better able to endure the Velcro fastners and hand laundering. They fit well around the CPAP straps and the Velcro is strong so they should last well. I've been using them now for a few months, have hand laundered them and found them like new afterwards. Bought this for my dad when he required supplemental oxygen in the hospital. The loops for the nasal cannula were irritating his ears and face.
