These furniture legs are well-constructed and will easily accept any paint or stain that you desire. I'm not a professional furniture maker by any means, but these were easy to use and intuitive. Just make sure that you measure your furniture and clearance before you begin to prevent any unanticipated surprises. These are about as cheap as you can get... if you're not paying attention to the quality after finish, they may work. But they are junk.

The feet came in good condition and they were very easy to install. My only input for how they could be better is they came very raw and unfinished (I know that's how they're sold and advertised), but if you want these to have a smooth finish, be prepared to do some progressive, detailed sanding starting with at least a 100 grit. The texture is very much like someone lightly took a wire brush to all of the legs. However, they look great on my project and they're still holding up. ... show more

These legs look pretty much exactly the way they're pictured. The wood has been sanded somewhat but not enough for a really smooth finish. It still feels a little rough to the touch - not a lot rough, just a little. They can be used as they are, but if you want a smoother surface you'll have to sand before staining or painting. I really like the plates that came with them. It makes attachment so much easier. I also like the design of them too - something more interesting than the average. ... show more
