This came very well packed in some heavy duty black foam stuff, so no breakage or chips whatsoever. But I deducted a star because it did have very sloppy paint work around all of the handles and one handle was missing a spot of black paint. It won't affect how this cooks, but it does cheapen the look to me. And I don't consider $45.99 at the time I ordered it as cheap. Makes me kinda wish I had ordered the solid blue one so that missing color and sloppy job around the handles wouldn't be an issue. ... show more

This baking dish is hefty. I like how deep it is. It's beautiful. It cooks well and cooks evenly. I've only made one casserole in it and it cooked perfectly. Washed well on the bottom shelf of dishwasher.

This is a very heavy, nice, baking dish. It looks really pretty and the glaze has few flaws. I am a bit worried about how durable it is going to be in the long term (I think the handles might be prone to breaking off, but I don't know for sure). This ceramic baking dish is super heavy and strong. The coating is smooth and seems to be very resilient. The handles are very strong and even though it's heavy, it's easy to hold securely. It would be good if it had a lid though. I prefer not to use foil for covering the food, but at least this is way better than using a foil tray. The last time I used a foil tray to cook a turkey, it developed a hole in the bottom and leaked through the bottom making a big mess in the oven. This baking dish definitely won't have that issue. It's a good size for cooking any kind of roast. It's decent in depth. At least I won't have issues with the juice spilling everywhere. It's healthy for cooking and food safe. Free from lead and other toxic chemicals. I'm pleased with it. ... show more
