With newer phones that use USB C chargers, your old phone brick just doesn't cut it anymore. You need to buy some higher wattage power bricks for phones nowadays otherwise they simply won't charge your device. My old car charger wouldn't even work on my google pixel 6 pro because of this. I'm guessing it just wasn't able to provide enough power to the phone because some older devices would charge just fine. Anyway, I ordered these along with some usb c cables and they work just fine. One problem you sometimes see with cheaper power bricks is that they either come loose from the socket or just don't always provide power, almost like they just can't make good contact with the socket. These however work just fine. The fact that it comes with three means you can always keep some in different rooms so you don't need to walk back and forth to charge your phone. Bought these to replace my multi port charger I use for fast charging my iPhone. Using a usb-c to lightning in the PD port on iPhone 14 and nothing else plugged In it charges the same rate as a 5w charger. I’ve been using my phone and watched the battery drain as it was charging. Update 7/10/23 I did some research and apparently some MFI cables that are “rated” for PD or fast charging actually aren’t. I’ve never bought a cable that was the issue so I assumed it was the brick. I bought Anker cables to test this, and sure enough this brick with a anker cable and I had super fast charging. Unfortunately they bad/slow cables were highly reviewed with good ratings and recommended by Amazon to pair with these bricks. ... show more
