I practiced medicine for 45 years, and during my training a wise old dermatologist put me onto two products that became mainstays of the rest of my work and personal life. One was Cetaphil skin cleanser, which absolutely saved my skin through innumerable hand washings. The other was this product, Blenderm tape. It was developed as a medical product, and has proven to the very best skin tape for wound dressing. It sticks to skin like a son-of-a-bitch which is, I believe, the top rating classification for tape adhesiveness. And since necessity is the mother of invention, Frank Zappa found many years ago that Blenderm has myriad other uses such as hinging photos onto paper, wrapping insulated wire, and it has found use in MMORPG to tape the cat's mouth shut when you're immersed in World of Warcraft and your specimen of Felis catus developers a persistent obsession with being fed. Sticks like Hell, sometimes even a bit hard to remove, and is flexible so that a child's wrists don't chaff during said WoW session. Allegedly. I heard somewhere.     • Best hinge tape around; useful for other stuff as well
I've used Blenderm for years, and have not found a tape better than it for 1) adhesion 2) elasticity. I bought a box of 24 about 12 years ago; and the rolls in the box are starting to fail. They have lost their strength, when you pull on them, they easily break. So, they do have a shelf life. I used about 12 of the 24. So, when I went to replace them, I wanted a smaller quantity. That can be difficult to find at a good price!!! Single rolls can be had at crazy prices.. This purchase, 6 rolls, was cost effective considering shelf life ... show more

    • Wow. This stuff is better than any medical tape I have ever used.
This is much stickier than the tape you get at the drug store. It is harder to rip however. We use it to hold down the mic cable of theatrical mics on actors. It's the next best thing to staples!

    • Although there's a picture of a box, you don't get one!
The tape is good, it sticks well to skin and stays on overnight. I was surprised to see this product repackaged in a plain plastic bag, rather than the 3M box shown in the listing. However, the tape itself is fine.

It's blenderm of course. Sticks to depron/epp/poly foams. Stuff will keep your rc foam planes together for over 10 years and still be flexible...that's a first hand report. Just got this 6 rolls.

There are plenty of sellers on Amazon selling this products at the same price for a roll that you can get six rolls for. It’s just derma medical tape. It is awesome stuff for plane wings Other control surfaces. And it’s a great value as long as you don’t pay me I didn’t know tax.

    • This tape is the bee's knees
Super easy to work with. Very lightweight. Works well on hobby projects and also worked very well to cover a nasty bug bite when I wanted to use the pool. The only thing it doesn't do well with is stretching. It tends to deform and bind to itself if you pull on it too much. If you minimize the amount of stretching you do with this tape, it will work magic for you. ... show more

Just buy this stuff, same tape all the hobby ships sell and mark as specialty for a premium.. Fantastic value when you get this many rolls. Will be stocked up for years now.
