Thin aluminum, but descent, locking protection and storage . Perfect dimensions for my trailer tongue and ample storage. Probably could be broken into with a pry bar, but wouldn’t give up without a fight. The locking lid is easy to use. Nice looking box as well.

This fit perfect on a 4x8 trailer. The notch in the back top allows for it to slide back just enough. The box is sturdy and holds enough. There are 8 ratchet straps, 2-hitches, a foldable lug wrench, and a jack. It all fits and is enough for what I need it for. I'm kind of torn between three and four stars. These boxes are precisely the size and style that I want. One of them arrived with the box dinged up a bit. The result seems to be that the lid is slightly bent. The other box was not dinged up as much, but there is a spot on the toolbox that was obviously welded up crooked. Neither of these is a huge deal considering the price of these boxes. I had bought a box that was almost six hundred the week before, and it wasn't packed as well, and was far more beat up that these two. I sent it back. These two were well packed in closed cell foam. I had considered contacting customer support for a discount--but truly --these boxes were $100 a piece. Not really worth 20 bucks for the phone call. Certainly not worth sending them back for the delay it would cause in getting my trailer ready to go. They'll still work just fine. My next option was a fourteen hundred dollar box, which might've had the same shipping and handling issues. So for a twelve hundred dollar savings, these'll do. They are also very light, which is a plus, as I'm trying to keep the weight down on the trailer. I think they'll be fine. ... show more
