For my first effort at making a chain for a pendant, it worked fine. Not hard to cut. The lobster clasps and rings are flimsy so I bought some other ones (the other ones are a little thicker making them harder but not impossible to attach. Love this chain. I’ve purchased in multiple sizes and have never been disappointed. My only gripe is that it comes in a big loop on a necklace hang tag, not on a spool. I keep an empty spool handy to transfer it onto when it arrives, otherwise it’s sure to tangle.

Great set--chain is strong and shows absolutely no sign of coming apart. I got the 2.5mm version and would advise others interested in this size to invest is some small/thin jump rings like the ones included (though the ones included are a little bit easier to bend than I had hoped, they do seem like they'll stand up to day-to-day wear just fine; not certain what gauge they are). I bought a variety set of 18 gauge jump rings here on Amazon and they absolutely will not fit in any portion of the chain so long as it has two other links within it. However, if you attach the 18 gauge jump rings to the very ends of the chain, where it's cut and only attached to one other link, it is possible to get the ring in. The fit is TIGHT and a bit of a hassle to get in, but it works well and looks fine. I'm running out of the chain a bit faster than I anticipated, but I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this again! ... show more
