Mounted, configured and running a menu loop in one morning
Size: 50 Inch
This went up as a menu board in a space with decent ambient light, and the 1000-nit panel handles it comfortably — text stays crisp and colors don't wash out under the overheads. At 50 inches and 4K the resolution means small print on a menu is actually readable from across the room, which was the failure point of the cheaper 1080p screen we tried first. It ships with a standard VESA pattern so it went onto an existing mount without adapters. Content handling is flexible enough for how we work. USB playback covers the simple case of looping a set of menu images, and the HDMI input means we can drive it from a small PC when we want something live. The CMS updates are there if you want remote management, though we haven't leaned on that yet. Power scheduling means it turns itself off overnight without anyone remembering to do it. Two honest points. It's heavy — check your mount rating and get a second person, because wrestling 50 inches onto a wall bracket alone is how screens get broken. And the menu system has the same slightly awkward translated labels as its smaller sibling, so budget some trial and error on first setup. After that it's been set-and-forget. ... show more
