Put these on metal chairs when a new floor was installed. No issues putting them on, they do protect the floor well. Only issues are I only needed 8 but came in a pack of 32 and every dog hair sticks to the bottom of them. But I would still recommend them.

My dining chairs taper at the bottom but have a leveling disc at the end. I was able to stretch the clear part of the protector over the disc, line up the glide with the bottom disc and the clear top immediately adhered to the leg. My chairs glide quietly and smoothly on my vinyl plank floors. I had one tear on the clear part, but someone was leaning back in the chair on the back legs and the leveling disc tore it. It would be nice if the kit included two extra for odd occurrences such as this. I would purchase this product again.

I have used all kinds of felt leg coverings since we have wood floors. I have used cheap stick on ones, nailed on ones etc and these are by far the best. They have not lasted forever but are cheap and pretty durable. I always have a few extra to use when one breaks.
