These are as good or even better than name brand DMC bobbins. The slits to hold the thread ends are tight enough that they won’t slip out unless really jostled. I keep mine in a box so I’m not worried about that. Pic is compared side by side to ones I get from Hobby Lobby. These ones are literally a hair longer but it’s not enough to make a difference in storage. The holes are same diameter and everything else is the same as the name brand. The thickness is the same and so they are sturdy and not flimsy or bendable. I’ve wound about 20 so far on these bobbins and don’t have any issues. I also received 300 in my package (10 groups of 30 banded together). I’m very happy with this purchase, no concerns at all. Would highly recommend. I will buy again when I run out. ... show more

    • I bought these so i could wind DMC emb floss on them
I cannot believe that I bought the paper DMC brand floss bobbins and the holes in them did not line up with the bobbin winder made by the same company! So, I bought these, and luckily they do fit. But, I pet the paper ones, so my students can take a little bit of floss home with them, and it works better for them to wind by hand. Despite bad reviews. This came in with correct number of bobbins. The slits in them are just fine infact they are a little smaller the the DMC ones I bought at Wal-Mart. Will definitely buy these again and recommend them to others.

Just what I needed! Thin but sturdy plastic with slits that hold even thin floss. You can write on them with sharpie and it doesn’t smudge. Fits perfectly in floss organizer containers.
