My son asked for these for Christmas. I can't rate the absorbancy feature since I have no idea about that... they are heavy and solid... almost like marble on top, so I doubt they absorb anything, but anyways... They are good quality, and definitely giftable! Makes a great conversation item as well, LOL!

Purchased for myself. The absorbency is great, I would gauge the sence of humor of your freind before you gift and I am not sure of the durability as I have not chucked it to the floor, but the weigh of them is nice. Also to note...if you are purchasing as a gift the overall packaging is a little janky.

You're here because you have a sense of humor, but you have to have that Joanna Gaines decor. Here's your coasters! They make great gifts, but pay attention to where you have them delivered. I accidentally had them sent to my mom, which became a pretty big problem. She doesn't do farmhouse style! Mine were open box because they had chipped edges, but I don't care. They are a little fragile at the edge. The text print could be a bit larger. They do absorb drips from condensation.

I recently bought a antique 1940's Duncan Phyfe style dining room set, The woman I bought it from head a set of coasters similar to these and I fell in love. Everyone that visits our house knows how I am because I have a lot of antique furniture so I had to have them. We recently moved to a home large enough to entertain so I can't wait to have people over for them to see and use these coasters!

These diatomite coasters are crazy absorbent — like, they drink up water drops instantly and keep your counters looking clean and aesthetic. I use them for soaps and toiletries, and they definitely help keep everything dry. But when the water spots get bad, you have to sand them down to refresh the surface. I didn’t know that at first, but a YouTuber reviewed them live and confirmed it: sanding is part of the maintenance. They’re great overall, just a tiny bit high‑maintenance if you let water sit too long. Pros Ultra‑absorbent stone material Keeps counters dry and tidy Sleek grooved design Perfect size for soaps + small items Cons Needs sanding when water spots build up Not ideal if you don’t have a sander handy

Awesome coasters! Not only are they durable and legitimize a dining set, the quote on them gets laughs from all my company, including my church friends! Definitely a good person and a funny conversation piece. Breaks the ice and sets the tone.
