I was excited to try these, but unfortunately I’m not a fan. Looking at the lipsticks, they seem like beautiful colors, but they’re much brighter on. It looks chalky on my lips- almost like I took lipstick out of a kid’s play set. It doesn’t cover evenly either and it comes of easily. They look slightly shiny too, so I’m not entirely sure why they’re labeled “matte.” On the plus side, they do hydrate my lips. Other than that, it’s difficult to find any other good qualities. The colors in this set are all very different which pretty much there will be at least 1 that suits you. I did find a lipstick that I really like. And there was one that is great for my daughter. The color is pretty solid and it stays on a decent amount of time without smudging. Unfortunately, the lipstick immediately started to burn my lips. I thought it might eventually fade but Nope, it got worse until I had to take it off and apply a really heavy moisturizer onto my lips. :( ... show more

These are very good lipsticks, and getting the package of five was a great way to try out the brand. These are comparable with name brands, that you would pay more for one, then you do with five of these. This is a must try, as you will find at least two, or three that you love, and a few you might use for a change of pace. Once you try them, the company has a lot of options, and you will know what you like, and exactly what to expect. They do not need constant touch up, and they are very durable and lasting.
