Waist on these pants is so small I doubt a skinny 12 yr old could wear them. Too bad, the colors and style are great. I bought them for a trip and I just returned yesterday. Now I can't return them because I didn't get home 2 days earlier. Stupid policy. These work fine for me as I'm hard to fit. Quality is an issue but main seams are still in tack, just the back pocket is tearing off. I can easily fix.
