I've bouguht a couple of different brands online, and these were the best. I've even bought some Foster Grant reading glasses at Walgreens. And they ALL had one unforgivable failing, Color Fringing. Color fringing is a distortion that occurs when a lens can't focus all colors of light to the same point. This causes everything to appear fuzzy and unsharp. I wanted to find some reading glasses that had larger lenses simply for my own comfort and when I saw this set which includes a pair of tinted readers for enjoying a book poolside or out in the garden, I was excited. When I got these, I immediately put on a pair and have been loving them. The frames are VERY comfortable, lightweight, the lenses are large and the magnification is spot on, which makes reading very easy. I love the fact that each pair comes with its own soft felt sleeve to protect the lenses in my purse. I keep readers in every room of my home so that I can grab them as needed. I've bought the glasses twice only because they are so comfortable, work great and are super cute as far as reading glasses go. However, the lenses randomly pop out due to the bottom of the frame snapping/breaking. This makes them unwearable and I have to toss them in the trash. It tends to happen while they are on my face and they have been well cared for so it's very strange. Maybe they don't like my face? 😂 If it happened just once I'd chalk it up to a fluke but it 's happened to almost every pair I've had.
