We used all the soldiers for our Ancient Rome unit. The kids loved building the castle as well.

Several pieces were missing preventing me from completely finishing the castle. Several other pieces were warped, but was able to straighten them with a heat gun. Tried contacting the seller, but haven't had a response yet. All in all, it's an ok deal for the price. If all the pieces were there it would be a great deal. *Updated* After the 2nd time reordering this, I finally received one with the correct parts and was able to build the castle. Castle looks good and is close enough in scale for standard 28mm minis. The additional pieces make for some really good scatter terrain. This would be 5 stars if it shipped correctly the first time instead of the 3rd...

Only issue I had is the figura are not all the same scale, the pirates and skellies are much much larger. Figures are pretty detailed for a toy, and I only bought it for the pirates and skellies.

you can even go great detailed model work with if you like painting and etching details on models to make it pop out more. The catapult and with rolled up paper is great fun for me and my son to pretend he is besieging the castle!

Little hard to assemble

I use the term “set” loosely, as the components are clearly a mixed bag from several different themes (pirate, medieval) and scales (some figures are 1” tall and others almost 2”). The castle is a complete kit though, which is nice. Easy to assemble and no missing pieces, as far as I can tell.
