Okay so this is obviously a TON of tape. I sell a lot of things on Mercari & other marketplaces, so this seemed like a helpful item. And, by & large, that's an accurate assesment. It's packing tape & it works like packing tape. That said, do not expect to recieve scotch tape type quality. Or whichever brand, the one with the red plastic dispenser thingy. This tape is not that. I mean it is but like... THE QUALITY ISN'T EQUAL, is all. THis tape is MUCH MUCH thinner. But oddly, I will give it credit, despite feeling flimsy I haven't had any issues with ripping or any complaints from customers (which, I assure you, if there was something to complain about they'd complain). SO, maybe it's psychosematic, & maybe tape thickness is just a marketing ploy to make people feel justified in paying more. Truly, could be the case. ANYWHO, so idk if it's real or imagined that that even matters, but that's the only reason I reduced a star, just because the tape feels suuuuuper thin & flimsy, but I am also noting that it performs well. There is no smell. (Review is suggesting that I mention it). Adhesive quality is like I said above, it's good. No issues with tearing. Oh, and also - love how the box comes in such a way that the tape can be divvied up. Not that I've shared my tape, perhaps I should be doing that, but if you wanted to you could split up the case by stack. Believe there are 6 stacks in there, but I've not even polished off a full roll yet. Would be really nice to have a dispenser, the core is too large on these to use it with the red ones. Maybe these work with more professional-grade dispensors I'm not sure. BUT... I haven't really had too many issues getting the start of the roll off, perhaps the adhesive quality is actually less than scotch or perhaps it's higher quality & actually knows what to stick to. Regardless, it's much easier to get the ends off. Changing the review to 5 stars. I've realized at the end of the review that what I am percieving to be indicators of lower-quality, could be the exact opposite. The tape is working as it should & it's been overall easier for me to use so, seems a little unfair to reduce a star over something I could be totally wrong about. Amazing, thank you! This came in a box filled with 24 rolls of tape. Each roll is roughly 3 inches wide (2.86 inches accdg to my measurement) with a 3 inch core. The descriptions says that the tape is 2.0 Mil and each roll is 55 yards long. - THE PRICE is less than half of the price of the branded ones. - THE STICKINESS is very good. I have bought a lot of these through the years because I would pack boxes to send abroad. So far so good. - THE DURABILITY, I think, can be attributed to how thick this is. It is, in fact, 2.0 Mil. To me, 2.0 Mil is just perfect for packing large carton boxes because they are a good compromise. The thicker ones, though more durable, tend to peal easier for some reason. - FUNCTION-wise, being 3 inch wide and with just the right amount of stretch and adhesion, I think this is perfect for wrapping boxes. I go through more than one roll of these just to completely wrap a 24 x 24 x 17 inch box to send abroad. OVERALL, I think it has good value for money. A good compromise between price and function.

It's a bit odd how different identical-looking packing tape can be depending on the brand. I'm used to it being two ends of a spectrum: -scotch/duck: expensive, durable, easy to use -uline/wholesale: cheap, fragile, iffy adhesive This tape here is really great because it's a healthy spot in the middle. This is a lot of rolls for a very good price, but still have a strong adhesive that works well. It's much more durable than cheap uline tape even if it isn't as thick or sturdy as the office supply brands. You WILL still need a tape gun for these- they aren't sturdy enough for hand-winding, but I haven't had any splits or tears in my use at all. This is a great, affordable bulk packing item. This doesn't have the durability for repairing things or long-term storage, but as a shipping accessory its just right.

I have a small business and package items several times a week. Somehow this tape feels thinner than 2 mil. Either that or I'm used to tape that is a bit thicker. Your typical brand name shipping tape from an office supply store is thicker. I appreciate how these are wide and have good adhesion, but they do feel quite flimsy because of the thinness. I needed to tape the box three times until I felt that it was sturdy enough.

Sticks well. Thin, but not too thin. Just use two layers if it's a really heavy box, but seems sturdy enough otheriwse. I haven't had any boxes break open. It's clear packing tabe so it works like you'd expect. It smells like packing tape, not overwhelming or anything, but you can smell it.
