  • A most satisfying smooth Fidget spinner
Vine Review: I received this item yesterday, and on a whim, after trying it out to assess how smoothly it rotated, I inadvertently dropped it into my pocket. It is indeed very smooth; the slightest flick initiates a long-lasting, satisfying spin. I should note that I am not a spinner aficionado, as this is my initial experience with one. Interestingly, I had an annual checkup today and left with ample time to spare. However, red flashing lights ahead were blocking an entire lane of traffic, rain pouring down obstructing vision, resulting in a traffic standstill. With nothing to do but sit there, fretting over whether I would be late and by how much, I recalled that I had casually placed the spinner my pocket earlier. I reached into my pocket, pulled it out, and began to play with it. Rather than becoming increasingly stressed, I found it oddly soothing. While I cannot pinpoint precisely why, I suspect that instead of fixating on my potential lateness, I was more focused on the smooth rotation between my fingers. Again, the long-spinning 3-in-1 spinner proved sufficiently distracting, allowing me to maintain a moderate blood pressure during my wait. I ultimately left it in my vehicle, as I believe that may be the most advantageous place for its use, since that is where I tend to experience the greatest need for a stress reliever. Many may regard it as a mere child's toy, and to that end, I concur, yet I have a sense that those of us who have long since left our childhood in the rearview mirror could benefit from revisiting that time occasionally, relishing in the nostalgia of youth. It can be surprisingly satisfying. Based upon my youthful reminiscence, I invite you to give it a try, delighting in the re-remembrance of our youth once again. It is a satisfyingly smooth product, and to that end, I can recommend it for almost any age beyond those who may have a tendency to place it into their mouths. ... show more

  • my favorite fidget device yet
I have a LOT of fidget spinners and other fidget toys. And I have 3d printed even more. I was surprised to see that nobody had reviewed this one yet, so I wanted to leave a quick note to say it's really good, very well made, and a great design. I did just notice there's a nearly identical spinner to this one that costs $109. I assume this one is probably a copy / ripoff of that one. I'm not a fan of intellectual property theft, and I will usually pay more to get the original (to reward the actual designer whenever possible). But I don't know for sure which came first, or perhaps they are both copies of some other third brand, and $109 is insanely steep for a fidget spinner! So I'm happy to have paid only $20 for this one. Anyway, the fact remains this spinner is really good. The center piece that holds it all together was a little loose when I got it. But I just tightened it by pressing a finger against both sides and giving it a half turn. All good now. I'd definitely recommend this one. ... show more

  • Really Fun Little Gadget
Color: Silver
Small, but packed with features. The more I fiddle with it, the more I like it. Find it hard to put down. It is metal, feels nice in your hand. The spinning is decent. The pieces separate and slide around the center with magnets, which is different, I like that feature a lot. It is fun to snap the two pieces between your finger in opposite directions while holding the center disc with the other hand. Love the clicking sound it makes when you do this. Probably my favorite feature is the clicking sound it makes when you squeeze the 2 wings that rotate around the center. Fun to play with utilizing the different functions. Update: After having this item for a few weeks now, I continue to enjoy it, I like this WAY more than I thought I would. I find myself holding it and toying with it an awful lot due to the multifunctions and the compact size. This might just be my favorite fidget toy. People who notce it and want to try it seem to really enjoy it too. Pretty impressive fo such a little thing. ... show more

  • Magnet came out immediately
Given the price of this toy, I expect pretty solid manufacturing standards. I was not real impressed. Pros: - Nice heavy metal construction. Feels pretty good in the hand. - Bearing spun very smoothly. I don't have any hours on it, so I don't know if that will last, but it starts off really nice. - Clicking mechanism is pretty satisfying. Hard not to enjoy a good tactile click. - Comes with a clear box and a bag for storage (see notes). Cons: - When I tried to separate the two halves and try that function, it was near impossible. I fought and fought with it, questioning if I had the way the mechanism worked wrong. Turns out one of the magnets had come loose inside and was blocking it from moving. I eventually got it apart, but I'm not impressed with a magnet coming loose... again, for the price, don't cheap out and use appropriate glue. - The splitting ("push") mechanism just isn't satisfying. It's too hard to do it one handed, and it just doesn't feel great. - The claim that it's "silent" is rediculous. I will give them that the spin portion is silent, but the push wasn't, and when I used the click my wife called from the other side of the house (no joke) asking what that sound was. - Mine came loose in it's box (there's tape that is supposed to hold in in place, which is a silly design decision when there's so much space for it to move around the tape). This meant the little clear box was pretty beat up and not really worth using. - The box is just not desk appropriate. The top is clear which is perfect, but the bottom half of the sides is just ugly. They're marketing this as a toy for adults, but the box looks like a cheesy 90s roller rink design. - The design itself just isn't great. They tried to make it compact, but in the process they gave up a lot of room for your fingers to manipulate it (specifically for the push). If you just want a noisy clicker and to spin it, you might feel decent about it. If this was a quarter of the price I would consider a higher rating. But marketing it as an adult toy and charging what they are, my expectations are just higher. I can't recommend it. ... show more
