I’m really happy with this brush cleaner! It cleans my makeup brushes much faster than washing them by hand, and the spinning action does a great job removing built-up makeup and product. This brush cleaner has made cleaning my makeup brushes so much easier. It saves a lot of time compared to washing them by hand, and my brushes come out much cleaner. I also love that it includes a drying holder, so I can wash several brushes at once and let them dry neatly in place. It’s compact, easy to use, and looks nice on my vanity. Ok, here is my review as a professional makeup artist. I was curious to try one of these washing machines for some time to see if this would help in my brushes cleaning process… and I would say this device definitely helps if you know what you are doing. I would say if you have a single set of brushes like 5-12 pieces to clean every week/or as needed- it’s optional if you want to buy this machine, because washing 10 brushes by hand is easy and fast. I usually have 200+ dirty brushes every weekend and using a device like this is cutting my time in twice when it comes to cleaning. Here is a few positive points: - cleans well large (not extra large), medium or small brushes (not extra small); - fast washing cycle; - washing container is easy to clean; - relatively quick, portable and quiet; - helps with time if 100+ brushes (large amounts) needed to be done; Here is a few negative points: - doesn’t clean tiny brushes with lipstick residue; - not effective drying holes panel (limited sizing); - washing and drying cycles don’t work simultaneously; - needs 2 washing cycles for deep cleaning. Here is what you need to do to make it work effectively: - use very warm water; - use dish soap or detergent (a few drops) instead of solution; - do two 12minutes cycles for brushes with heavy residue like foundation or large brushes (rinse them still sitting in a lid holder between washes); Out of 10 points I would give this machine 8. Overall, it saves my time and helps to clean brushes while I’m doing something else. It’s very easy to use, helps to prevent my hands from getting dry every time I’m washing excessive amount of brushes. I’m keeping this machine.
