My tween daughter has loved roller skating since she was about 4 I guess. Most kids get bikes, she gets skates! She's had several adjustable pairs over the years, never been without at least one pair, and she really likes these. The extra set of laces is good because she will eventually break the first set as her feet get bigger and she laces them up 3-4 times a week. She said they're comfortable but the toe stop is a little shorter than she remembers first starting out with on other pairs and she wishes the lights on the wheels were rainbow instead of all white. My son saw his sister's and asked for one. So glad they have this in a neutral color. Quality is really well made. My son put it on right away and said they're comfy. He also mentioned they were a little heavy, but it was expected. He put them on right away. I cannot say enough positive things about this item. I ordered them because as an adult I reminisce back to when I was a child and had my own awesome set of blades. They look really nice, are adjustable for shoe size, and light up. Three thumbs up in my book. I like the extra ankle protection and the fact that they are adjustable. While I loved to skate, the one thing I always dealt with was bad ankles and the stiffness around this area definitely helps protect them. I also as I mentioned before, I have already adjusted them to go one size up, so I think this item was definitely worth the money. ... show more

I rate these roller skates as 5 stars because they are of good quality, really cute and the lighted wheels add to the fun and excitement. The presentation, design, construction and color are very impressive. Unfortunately, my feet are way too big to speak first hand about comfort, but there have been no complaints from the kiddos, so I can tell that they are pretty comfortable.
