These are high grade head marked 8.8 bolts. The length under the head flange is 115mm. The bolt head is for a 10mm wrench that is included. The unthreaded portion of the shaft is 7.8mm in diameter. The flange diameter is 15.5mm on the bolt and the nut. The threaded portion of the bolt is 35mm long. The flange is smooth on both the bolt and the nut. The nut takes a 12mm wrench. The threads check out as M8 1.25 on the thread checker. The nuts are prevailing torque type all metal lock nuts. The finish on the bolt and nut is smooth and bright. Overall these appear to be automotive grade industrial fasteners suitable for engine duty. ... show more
