I ordered these to replace the crappy plastic gears that came on my table saw. I unfortunately ordered the wrong size and had to bore them out wider. Once completed and installed the worked perfectly!! I’ve never seen the saw blade raise and lower better that this.

The Tapered Bevel Pinion Gears (2 pcs.) are good quality. The reason for the 4 stars has nothing to do with the quality of this item but to the fact I did not receive the four (4) set screws or the allen wrench that is supposed to come with these gears as shown in the picture. I would purchase this item again if I could be assured that at least the set screws would be provided next time. ... show more

I took the 1.5 in the description to be one and a half inches in diameter. They are slightly less than an inch. Way to small for my intended use. Very disappointed.
