Received exactly what was pictured. Before purchasing, I measured almost everything to ensure it all matched up with what I was replacing. After a lot of matches, I got lazy and skipped measuring the inner diameter for the axle - and of course that was the only part of this item that ended up not matching what I had. Be sure to measure every part! This axle hole was too small to fit my axle. Luckily the axle hole is just part of the casing and has no bearing the functionality. Since everything else was a perfect match - I was able to switch out the casing of my broken gearbox with this one and get it installed. Of course that is going to void any returns/warranties, but it got it all working. The motor is also not an exact match for what I was replacing - this one has more RPMs, so I recommend getting at least two so that the left and right wheels match RPMs. ... show more

Works great, not too hard to install, needed some modifications. In the description it says either 18 or 24 volts so I wired in an 18 volt battery. When my son hit the pedal it almost flipped the whole car backwards and was too fast for him to control very easily. I dropped down to 12 volts and it's still pretty quick but much easier to control. ... show more

I installed the replacement motors sent by Amazon, but this time I added inline fuses to each motor. I noticed that more often than not, the motors pull 9 Amps continously, and the gauge of the wires provided in the box is not low enough. I suspect those wires caused the fire with the previous motors. Needles to say, I replaced them. Also, after reading some reviews, I opened the gearboxes and added grease. I also added forced air to cool down the motor zones. My kid rides in grass or dirt, so the motors get more stress and ampere draw than riding on paved area. I will update based on performance *** Previous review: They were fast on the first day while riding in paved area, but once the kiddo rode on dirt, the motors burned causing a fire in the jeep. Now, I may have to replace the entire ride on toy. ... show more

It fit but there is a part of this product that does have a problem with being lower than the part it mates with it only catches a portion of the gears in order for it to work properly and causes the ride on toy to stop working again until it is ajusted.

I do NOT recommend! Put them on my boys power wheels truck and they worked for about the first 30ish minutes then they started to smoke. I’m sure it would have caught on fire. All you could smell was but in plastic. Both of em are shot and I only had them unsalted for him to play with for about 30ish minutes. ... show more
