I used these to replace a defective gearbox on an otherwise brand new ride-on. I figured I'd replace them as a pair. Results will vary depending on the car, but with a 50 lb child in it I clocked it at 7 MPH using a GPS app. Prior to this, it has a claimed top speed of 5 MPH.

Works great, not too hard to install, needed some modifications. In the description it says either 18 or 24 volts so I wired in an 18 volt battery. When my son hit the pedal it almost flipped the whole car backwards and was too fast for him to control very easily. I dropped down to 12 volts and it's still pretty quick but much easier to control.

Worked really well for about 3-4 weeks before one of the motors burnt out running at 24V. Was relatively easy to install overall, but not easy enough to buy a new set every month.

All i can say is wow! Easily double the torque compared to the 12v motors these replaced! Word of warning though, you may need to install a wheelie bar.
