Purchased this product as an addition to the Aosu Doorbell Camera. And just like the doorbell camera it does not require a monthly service fee like other manufacturers. The great thing about this product is that just like the doorbell cam it is Wifi capable and can send live stream to your smart phone. Once you download the Aosu app and register the cam with Aosu it can stream images to your smart phone. You will need to do this to activate the camera. The image quality and sound recording is fantastic and if you enable the auto track feature it will track movement. Additionally, it does have a speaker so you can talk to your children, family or pets. If you view images on your phone you can also manually control the pan and tilt of the camera as well. The recording sessions will store on your smart phone and can be deleted. **Please note that this item doesn't come with a memory card.** You'll need to purchase one separately if you want to store recordings locally. Also, this camera needs to be plugged in to a power outlet. It does not run on batteries. Every once in a while you'll recieve notifications from Aosu asking if you'd like to add cloud storage. Of course that comes with a cost. Personally, micro sd cards are fairly inexpensive. That's the route I went. Bottom line. It doesn't require a monthly subscription! Great image and sound recording. I first purchased another brand very similar camera and after spending 3 hours trying to get the cameras to pair with my wifi, I gave up and sent them back. Bought two of these AOSU and with much anxiousness, but had every bit of success getting them up and running with no glitches. I have very average abilities with these electronics so you can imagine my happiness when they showed up on my android phone functioning 100%. I bought this camera for my bedroom. I needed something to wake me/ alert someone incase I had a seizure or I start to sleep walk lol. Well this camera definitely will catch it! However, it MAY work TOO well... every time I moved slightly, or even when I coughed it sent an alert to my phone saying motion detected 😅. Kept waking me up! So I'm not sure what I can do about that, may just have to put it in the hallway and use only for sleep walking episodes 🫣 but if you are looking for a home security camera that's cheap and works great, this one is for you!! ... show more

I love this product. I can link it to my apple watch, and get notified when someone enters or exit their room. The night vision is great, the quality is amazing for the price. I can also rotate it and move it as much as needed to watch what they are doing in their room. There is also an option to record directly from the camera which is amazing. They have no complaints, the camera is absolutely silent and they usually say they forget its there. The app is a bit glitchy sometimes, but nothing too crazy tbh. Unfortunately the first one we ordered arrived in an empty mailer, but the seller was prompt to send us another one. I would recommend this over a baby monitor for a bedroom, especially because they can directly call me from the camera. One other glitchy thing is when you have the automatic detection on, it follows every movement which makes it very shaky if someone is moving around in the room a bit, tho its easy to turn off the setting ... show more

After reading so many reviews and doing a fair amount of research regarding the different types of systems available I pulled the trigger and purchased the AOSU cameras (both the outdoor wireless with solar and this indoor one). I'm very pleased with my purchases. The only thing that I feel that could be improved upon (based on my limited experience) is the detection range, which is less than I had expected. Even with the sensitivity at full (outdoor cameras) it's less than my desired range. I'm still very happy with my purchase and would recommend that you give them a serious look. ... show more

I was looking for a a good quality HD camera to keep an eye out on my car. One week later a group of four teenagers tried to steal my vehicle park in front of my home. Luckily the Caremark was recording HOWEVER all the files were AVI files that needed to be converted. I did find on online free conversion up to 15 per day. It took several conversion before I found d the right ones. There were over hundred to convert. Still haven’t figured out how to have them used different format so that could be my lack of understanding. One other feature I don’t like is when you touch the screen by the controls it will pan around which is annoying. Also if you pick up the camera be carful not to touch the green call button because it will go off. Another annoying feature. It still does the job and it this camera that caught the so be thieves which got report to the authorities and insurance company. They like to see video for proof and helps catch these crooks.
