I suppose hate is a strong word. Perhaps these are a good entry level into 24/7 recording? PROS: Out of the box these cameras quickly connect to the NVR and start to work. Install went fine, but I wish the power cord connections were a little smaller so I didn't have to drill such big holes to run them to power. Price point was good for entry into a 24/7 video product. Brand comes highly recommended for versatility/compatability, but the US government may ruin that. Picture seems clear enough, but: CONS: I have set these cameras to the lowest possible setting and still get hundreds of warning per day from bugs flying past, the slightest drift of the curtain 30 yards away from the camera, and sometimes nothing obvious. Tech support responded in a timely manner, but were not very helpful in suggesting ways to avoid the false alarms. We have another brand on the front of the house that always works appropriately. The alarm is not very loud. Not being able to fast forward the video unless subscribed to the cloud is a pain. The software and app are just "ok". Too many times I have to go to the NVR to make adjustments rather than remotely adjusting through the app. I like the PTZ cameras a lot, but they seem noisy when moving and don't inspire confidence for longevity. I've been using these cameras for a couple weeks and they work pretty much as advertised. The functions of these cameras so far have been good. However, I have had some issues with the PT (pitch, tilt) function. After contacting support they sent me 2 new cameras no questions asked. After using these cameras for a while, I've noticed using the slower settings for PTZ speed seems to work best. The customer support has been OUTSTANDING so far. Any issues with the system, I just email them, they respond pretty quick with the answer. There's also phone numbers to call and they use "what's app" to communicate. I haven't used customer service by phone, only by email and it's been great. The longest I've waited for an answer is a couple hours (probably because of the time difference) so far every problem I've had has been answered or resolved. The NVR set up is a bit confusing at first but if you have patience and work with it, you CAN figure it out. I've found that during the set up prosses you'll need to reset the system by unplugging and replugging components ect. You might need to do that multiple times though out the set up prosses and use customer support if needed. Overall I gave 5 stars for support alone. The cameras for the price are good with decent resolution. The PT function could be better but to have a remote security system for this price, IMHO, is pretty good. ... show more

The camera quality is good overall, the motion sense is waaaay too sensitive even at the lowest settings. It should also be noted that not only do you have to purchase the cameras, you have to pay for a subscription to be able to play them back which is an absolute joke!! The subscriptions are not only ridiculous, but ridiculously overpriced!! I can assure you for this exact reason I would NOT buy them again. The only reason I'm giving them a 2 star rating is because the camera itself has functioned well so far. ... show more
