This has some good points to review and other just common sense items. All in all it is a good review of information to stir thoughts for your own security. This should be a must read for younger more trusting lost souls who are the real victims of today's world...but they probably wont.

In this book Damian takes you through the fundamentals of how to protect your home, without turning it into a prison. But most importantly, how to be aware of what the bad guys are looking for and what they see when looking at a target. Ever home should be it's owners castle and your should feel safe in it. This book gives you an outline of how to protect it, your belongings and most importantly your loved ones. As while most burglars prefer empty houses, some don't care and ya never know when you might come home and surprise a burglar who went in while you were gone... and that's a BAD situation. ... show more

It’s a very quick read. I like that. He doesn’t waste a lot of time with fluff, but simply gives the facts. There are items on the list that won’t apply to everyone, but for the most part, they are all relevant. Many of the items I already accomplished, so that was comforting. I definitely have a few more things to work on though. Overall, I’d recommend this book. In fact, I can think of a few friends who can use it right now! ... show more

I’ve read this book with great interest inasmuch as I’ve experienced a break in. The hiding places for valuables has great ideas that I would use, and a link to a book that’s more extensive on that subject. It’s a good idea to get to know your neighbors well.
