I recently purchased the 18Ft Reach Car Wash Brush with Long Handle, hoping to simplify the daunting task of cleaning my large RV. The promise of a 12-inch soft bristle brush and a telescoping aluminum pole that extends up to 18 feet was certainly appealing. Here's my take after a few uses: Pros: * Extended Reach: The telescoping pole is undeniably the star of the show. It does indeed provide a significant reach, making it easier to clean the roof and higher sides of large vehicles like RVs and trucks. This is a huge plus for anyone who struggles with ladders or reaching those tricky spots. * Soft Bristles: The 12-inch brush head with soft bristles is gentle on the vehicle's surface. I haven't noticed any scratches, even on the more delicate painted areas. * Versatility: The product description highlights its suitability for various cleaning tasks, including cars, boats, floors, and even solar panels. I can see how it would be useful for a variety of tasks. * Aluminum Pole: The aluminum pole is relatively lightweight, which is crucial when extended to its full length. It feels sturdy enough for regular use. Cons: * Flex and Control: At its maximum extension (18 feet), the pole exhibits a noticeable amount of flex. Nice extension rod. EAsy to size and use. It's not very long so good for those short yet still tough to reach spots. The rod is thick and feels sturdy and has good weight. The foam tip handle could be better. Works well to attach to any brush head.

This brush makes washing my car much easier. I was worried that it wouldn’t fit into my go-to 11.5 inch diameter wash bucket, but it plunges in there perfectly. I like that the handle is padded and beefy, allowing me to efficiently apply “elbow grease” when scrubbing problem areas, and that the bristles are soft enough to make scratching the paint not a concern. It’s great that the densely-packed, soft bristles make it possible to thoroughly clean areas using fewer passes while being gentle on the surface being cleaned. Another nice feature is that the bristles surround the perimeter of the brush block. This not only helps prevent you from damaging your surface with the edge of the block but helps you clean corners as well. I also like that the telescoping handle segments are freely adjustable and provide tremendous reach while locking firmly in place. There’s no wobble whatsoever while using the brush. The only downside for me is that when I ordered the product the ad boasted that a hose could be connected to provide a constant flow of water for continuous cleaning, but there are no provisions on the brush or handle for that. Perhaps that was a text remnant from a previous copy/pasted ad that has been corrected by now, but it’s still a feature that would be good to have.

I'm blown away by the quality and performance of this car wash brush. It features a 12-foot long handle and soft bristles that are gentle on surfaces. The aluminum telescoping pole is incredibly sturdy and heavy-duty, making it perfect for cleaning large vehicles. What I love about this brush is its sheer length - while it may be overkill for smaller cars or trucks (such as my wife's Subaru Outback or my Gladiator), it is sturdier since we don't extend it fully. That said, the extra reach allows me to clean hard-to-reach areas without climbing ladders or struggling with awkward angles. Using the brush at full length would be excessive for my midsize truck, but I can adjust the pole to a more manageable height and still get great results.
