Great for the price! 240 pound adult and the shock holds me better then a 250 motocross bike, I have the older ssr125/crf50 frame and you HAVE to mount it upside down because if it’s upright you can’t mount the seat but upside fits perfectly!

I bought this for my 2021 SSR 125. Now the OEM size for the 125 is 275mm. And this shock is 280mm. And it works great for me. I’m 220 lbs and it keeps the bike up and planted. Even my son that is around 120 lbs it works great foe him. Install was straight forward and easy. Just make use to use a little lock tight. It looks cool but not a very good shock. Has a lot of bounce which makes me wonder if it's even charger properly and when I tried to adjust the preload on the spring it started to unscrew the shock body for the end of the shock. Glad I caught it before the whole thing came apart. It was cheap so I didn't expect much but this is pretty bad. ... show more

Shock fits the ssr 125. It is noticeably stiffer compared to the stock one. Good quality shock. The only thing to watch out for is adjusting pre load. I tried to squeeze the spring and while turning the rings the top leaked fluid after a half an inch. Shock also requires a high pressure pump to inflate air into reservoir ... show more
