Finally petite pants that are actually petite! Love the fabric. Thanks to those that said to size up. I’m 5’0 190 and got the 2x, I’m typically a large. Will definitely purchase additional pairs! Update: I love the pants, but I wish the band didn’t fold over when sitting. Pretty annoying.

Since I am only 5'1", I'm so happy to find this brand called Maison Misfits, because it seems most, if not all, of their women's pants are sold with two or three inseam options. The 26" inseam is perfect for me. It's a real treat to be able to buy pants that are actually the correct length for me. I chose these in black and the color is as expected. The lightweight fabric is really nice; it's flowy but not too thin, and it's stretchy. It's athletic-type fabric but it feels sort of slinky. It drapes and flows nicely, which is nice because these are wide-leg pants, and the slits at the bottom/sides look cute when they flow open as you walk. For the most part these pants have a loose, easy fit, but the waist is smaller than expected. The waist is elastic, but the elastic is sturdy and firm rather than super stretchy. The waist does stretch, just not all that much. Since my body is an "apple" shape, I have a thicker waist, so a softer, stretchier waistband would work better for me. I probably should have gone up a size, but these do stretch so that I can wear them. If you have a pear or hourglass figure, I'm thinking you should be fine. And although the firm elastic is kind of tight on me, I do like the way it looks, because the waistband is smooth and not puckered or bulky like most pants with an elastic waist. The smooth waistbands looks nicer and dressier. Which brings me to my next point: these are marketed as athletic pants but they are nice enough to dress up. Dress them up and no one would ever know they are workout pants. While the drawstring waist definitely says "work out" to me, everything else about the pants makes them versatile enough for workout or going to a casual dinner or party. The slits in the legs are really cute and have as summery vibe. These would look so cute with sandals and a pretty top.

I am 5’5”, they hit just above my ankles. The material feels soft and lightweight, somewhere between silky and cottony, they didn't clinging to my skin. It’s breathable, and good for the spring season, like when I’m chasing my kids at the park or sitting through their soccer practice. The wide leg cut is roomy through the hips and thighs, with slits on the sides that go up to just below my knees. When there’s wind, the fabric flutters a bit, which can look a little quirky, but I think it adds to the laid back style when it’s still. I wore them during a windy picnic, and the slits made the legs billow out, which was kind of funny but not a dealbreaker. The pants also have pockets, handy for holding my phone or keys when I’m out. I like the protection for sunny days, and the fabric hasn’t pilled or worn out despite several washes. Pet hair does stick to it, but a quick lint roller takes care of that. My only gripe is that the slits can feel a bit too open in strong wind, and I wish they have buttons or something else can use for a more tailored look.

These are wayyyy too small. I’m a XXL and they were skin tight on me. I got my mom to try them on, she’s a true size large, and they fit her perfectly. For reference, she’s 5’3” and 130 lbs. She was shocked when I told her what size they were. The waistband is tiny. Not true to size at all!

The inseam split creates a smooth, flowing look that makes them more dressy than regular sweatpants—I've even worn them on casual coffee runs without overdoing it. And the UPF50 protection gives me confidence on sunny walks. Wide legs are generous in room but not loose, and soft, airy fabric doesn't grab or retain heat. I love deep pockets—larger than I've ever had in lounge pants, they hold my phone and keys without hesitation. They’re lightweight enough for travel but sturdy enough to handle daily wear. If you’re petite and struggle to find sweatpants that feel both cozy and put-together, these are worth every penny. I’ll definitely be buying another pair!
