  • Quality at an affordable price
Color: Black
Great break cue for the money. Great quality for an affordable price. Perfectly straight and solid. Feels really nice when breaking the rack. Good solid hit every time so far. I recommend it highly.

  • Best bang for your buck for your 1st break cue.
Color: Red
I bought this due to a friend recommendation. Plays relatively well, no trouble assembling and storing in my stick bag. With this extra weight, i have been pocketing more balls on the break than using house cues. While it's a hybrid, i haven't used the jump option (skill difference to be honest). I did notice a rattle in the base after a couple uses where most of the weight is. I called customer support, despise the description, the weight is changeable, if yours rattles at the base, pop off the rubber stopper and tighten the weight bolt inside the cue using a hex wrench (or allen wrench). If it still doesnt go away CALL SUPPORT, THEY HELP. Definitely recommended for your 1st break cue. ... show more

  • Good break cue for a good price.
Color: Black
Update: After using this for a few months, I've remained very happy with the cue. The question of whether to use a light weight cue (so that you can generate more cue speed during a break) or a heavier cue (so that it has more kinetic energy at impact assuming a given velocity) is certainly a valid question. I can't tell you which route will make you more comfortable, but assuming that you prefer a heavier break cue, then this is a solid choice at a very reasonable price. I don't hit breaks as fast as many players, so I'm not as hard on this cue as some may be, and thus can't comment as well on this cue's durability. That being said, I haven't noticed any warping, the phenolic tip hasn't shown any signs of premature wear, and the cue plays the same as it did when I bought it. The cue has a predictable and repeatable heavy hit, which is what I'm looking for in a break cue. Based on all of that, I'm sticking with my original 4 stars, and would still recommend this cue to anyone looking for a reasonably priced heavy breaker. ------------------------------------------ This cue is solidly built and is very nice for breaking. I don't use it as a jump cue even though it can be broken down as such, so I can't comment on how it works for that application. The phenolic tip makes miscues easier if you don't break close to the center of the cue ball, so be aware, but such a hard tip is nice for breaking. That being said, once I set the tip up to my liking, it performed quite well for me. Obviously the big point of this cue is its heaviness, and it is quite noticable in play. I have been pleasantly surprised by the feel of the heavy cue during breaking, but it does take a few strokes to get used to the weight of the stick if you are used to playing with a lighter cue. I would not hesitate to buy this cue again, and would recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive break cue. So, why didn't I give it 5 stars? Well, the quality of the wood and the overall fit and finish isn't as perfect as with more expensive cues, so I wouldn't say it was a perfect cue. I would, however, give it a 5/5 for value & price vs. performance. As long as your expectations are real then you should be quite happy with this cue. ... show more

  • Just get it!
Color: Red
My husband and I are fairly competitive pool players, we play in a pool league every week, as well as a separate tournament every Friday night at our local bar. We LOVE this breaking cue, it's got a great weight to it, and sends the balls flying. Often makes for a great match! Highly recommend it, and at this price, you can't go wrong. We made our money back after 2 tournaments, plus some 😅 and I credit it to our great starts with this cue! ... show more

  • great stick
Color: Black
I am 75 and have lost the speed on my break stroke. Adding this 25oz. breaker has greatly improved my ball making on the break. After over 50 years of playing, I feel I am no longer at a disadvantage on the break with the younger guys. I too thought this to be a 2-piece stick as I could not break the butt loose at first. After breaking all night at pool, I went to break my stick down at the end of the session and the lower part of the handle broke loose. I was pleased to see that I indeed did have a jump cue. As I practiced jumping with it, I was even more pleased. It gets the cue up faster and with more control than any of my other 3 jump sticks! I would have kept this breaker even if they sent it as a 2 piece, but the stick is a great jumper as well. I would suggest you buy this stick fast as they are hard to find. This baby will vastly increase your opportunity to break and run like the young dogs! ... show more

  • Heavy
Color: Silver
This really as some weight behind. You do not need to over power the break. Steady firm hit with follow thru and the balls fly around the table. Makes it easier to focus on accuracy.
