I need to install a tin roof on a firewood enclosure and tried these screws out. It was more economical for me to order these screws then find some at the hardware store. What I loved? once tapped, they attached the roof and look quite nice. what i didn't like? They were hard to get tapped. After a while you get into a ryhtm but at first getting them tapped was difficult, especially working on a ladder.

The self drilling points are not as sharp as some other roofing screws, but they will self drill into metal roofing with a good impact driver. I had no problems getting these to go in with an M18 Fuel impact. The threads are coarse, perfect for wood decking. I'm not sure if these would be good for metal to metal such as steel buildings and carports, but for metal to wood they work well. The EPDM gaskets look fresh and seal perfectly. The color matched paint looks good and seems durable. I don't anticipate having any issues with leaks from these fasteners, but I'll update my review if there are any long term issues.

Self tap crap , bit don't fit , Drill points not sharp . head size wobbles in a not so magnetic bit. worst purchase from amazon in years . About half of these screws hit the ground and stayed there, what a costly addition to the job. never again... back to TEK tips ..

I use these screws for my metal pool cover reel. it does a great job and works very well in screwing metal sheets to one another. Id recommend these for anyone those in need of similar resistant screws.

Screws are exactly what I was looking for but the description stated that the driver bit was included. It did not come in the box. So, I wasted time going to my local home improvement store to source the bit. 2 hours lost from my day for this. Other than that.. yeah the screws are fine. Quality control please and insure the end user has the driver bit as described.
