I was impressed with these before I even opened the box – they came packaged amazingly well! The plates, bowls, and even the chopstick holders had foam pieces between each one and their own tight section in neat foam piece inside a sturdy box. The weight and quality are excellent, the printing clear and looks exactly like the listing photos. The plates and bowls will be useful for many things like appetizers, snacks, or desserts. At the time I ordered them (and now as I write this review) there are no measurements given for the size of the plates and bowls, so I have included photos with a measuring tape for reference. The plates are approximately 9.75 x 4.5 inches, and the bowls are approximately 3.75 inches in diameter. I didn’t measure the depth, but included a side view photo of the plates and bowls for reference. This set is dishwasher safe, which is always a bonus in my book, and the box states they are microwave & oven safe, able to withstand high temps, and lead free. The box also has a QR code that takes you to a free download of a Digital Recipe Planner. I thought it was actual recipes, but it is only a PDF “planner” for you to fill in with your own recipes. Not exactly useful, at least not for me. My only disappointment is that they only offer a set of 5, instead of 6. We typically would invite 2 couples to dinner (6 people total), so I will need to order a second set of 5 (which I don’t actually need) in order to have enough. At least the price is isn’t bad (around $30 at the time of this review). I hope this information has been helpful.

This is a really nice set of quality dishes. Thy were packed well to prevent breakage in shipping. The colors and designs are clear and vivid, the dishes are heavy - not delicate. The chop sticks are nice. This would make a great gift for a sushi enthusiast.

This is a really exceptional sushi dinnerware set. For some reason, I thought the dishes were going to feel like melamine or corelle but they are nice thick porcelain with a great weight to them. I also like the black plastic chopsticks because all the wooden chopsticks that we have now stain too easily and permanently. After a while, they have to be discarded from warping or staining. We have some plastic ones too and they’ve held up much better, so for us this is great. We love everything about the set except the CA P65 warning, if that’s of concern, but it is supposed to be lead-free. It comes well protected and would make a great gift too! Overall, this is a beautiful Japanese style complete sushi set of plates and chopsticks. Everything is appropriately sized and weighted for ease of use. We love it and would give it a 4.9/5.0 - 01/16/2024.

These dishes came in a set of 5 sushi plates and 5 matching sauce bowls. Each set is a different design and so hard to choose the prettiest. Five sets of black chopsticks are also in included. I've had issues with breakage in the past when ordering dishes through the mail. Took a chance on these and they arrived without a chip. I was so amazed at how well packaged they were when I opened the box. The plates were stacked together with foam sheets separating them. There was a tape strapped around them. The bowls arrived the same way. I actually had trouble removing them from the solid foam that had spaces that snugly held everything tightly in place. Very impressed with the packaging. I like the versatility of this set also as I see us using these as snack trays or holding a sandwich and a side. Charcuterie also came to mind. I'm looking forward to using them on game nights to hold our snacks. These will definitely not be kept on a shelf awaiting an order of sushi!

This is a beautiful sushi plate set, and really makes your food stand out when served. We like to make sushi at least once a month and when I saw this, I wanted to try it out because our set was kind of pieced together and a couple of them were showing their age. This set is made of very heavy porcelain and have good weight, the designs stand out and really tray attention to the food. Its a complete set for 4 of serving tray, sauce bowl, and chopstick holder; it also includes chopsticks but we continue to use our originals. Overall its a very nice set and we would highly recommend them.

This a lovely and beautifully designed sushi set. It has everything you need to serve a small family meal. The plates, the dipping bowls, and the chopstick rests are nice quality. It's a very professional presentation that elevates the meal. The only thing I hate about this set is that everything is so nice -- except for the chopsticks. They're not flimsy, but it brings the whole set down. They look and feel low quality. I am taking off 1.5 stars for those. Overall it's a very nice set, except for the plastic chopsticks. Solid nice 3.5 stars, rounded up to 4.

We got this with the plan to use it for when we make sushi but it really can be used for several things. The plates can be used for things like serving on or for appetizer platters, or the small bowls as pinch bowls when cooking. They are so beautiful and look wonderful on the table. I love the varied colors and patterns, and they are very vibrant. They are sturdy and well made as well. The box had a nice heft to it. They are definitely high quality. They were nestled nicely into sturdy foam so they arrived safely. We did dishwash and microwave them and they were just fine after. It says they are oven safe, but I doubt we will ever use them in the oven. The chopsticks are nothing special so I recommend getting a different set if you want to have something a little nicer there. I did not take away a star for the lackluster chopsticks tho, as the set itself is so nice.
