Definitely much more giddyup than 12 V if you’re thinking of Tokyo drift, you need to go with a little bit bigger of a motor but this one here is definitely good and it comes with the new high-speed gears so that helps

    • Very fast, very durable, not easy to replace

Definitely a better build than the original! Some things you should know: 1. The connectors may not fit your model, be prepared to crimp 2. The blade connectors are very loose on the motor, I'm expecting to have to solder them at some point 3. These motors are ridiculously high speed, 50K rpm versus the original 12K motors, which means two things 1) You can't replace just one, you'd have a tremendous power differential 2) the car is crazy fast, my four year old can handle it and loves it, but when he was 3 it would have been out of control and dangerous. How fast? He gets tiny air over a bike hump. He's only put about an hour on it so far, but I expect them to last better than the originals, which got about 15 hours of use.
