Easily assembled & excellent quality. I'm a very picky seamstress & have made 3 headboards previously. Not with as much detail as this winged one. I don't own upholstery equipment for this much detail. The silver finished upholstery studs are evenly spaced & in there well. The velvet fabric isn't shiny or cheap looking. It's like a thick, luxurious cotton velveteen fabric. The tufted buttons have held up with no areas of concern. I've had it for 12 months & really like the look & feel. Seems very sturdy. Has a good amount of weight. Easy to assemble and the blue is beautiful. I am working toward a dark academia aesthetic in my bedroom and this is perfect. I did use a black sharpie to 'antique' the Shiney tacks.

I am not sure if I lost the hardware, or it was missing in the box. But I found bolts that worked - you need eight 5/16x20 bolts that are either 1-1/2" or 1-3/4" long to attach legs to the board itself. My application is unconventional - my “bed” is made of two 8" king wooden frames (or mattress foundations) that are placed one on another. It makes 16" total heigh and 75" width. This headboard worked perfectly for my purpose. I had to change leg and right legs between each other, because otherwise they would stick out a bit on sides, and I drilled 3 through holes on each side to install through bolts attaching the board to the frame (where I additionally installed wood bracing). All in all, I am very happy with the board. Just keep in mind that while at the bottom the width is 75", on top there are two “ears” that extend another 2” on each side. I miscalculated the width because of this and my light switches are now too close to the board. ... show more
