Love this necklace and the link style. I got it in an 18” length and often wear it with a rose gold and abalone pendant. It’s light (not heavy like real gold), but it’s not flimsy or cheap looking. It’s a bold and shiny deep gold color when compared to rose or 14 karat yellow gold (as in the pictures). It came in a small box and plastic bag with a tiny wiping cloth. For the past 3 weeks, I’ve been wearing it daily, with a pendant and without. I’ve been taking it off and putting it back on repeatedly. I’ve been showering and sweating with it on and have even over sprayed it by accident with cologne and hair spray. The color is as shiny and vibrant as ever, it hasn’t discolored, faded, turned my neck green or given me a rash, it does not snag your hair or clothes, it has no dents in it, and the clasp is still solid with no sign of weakness or gaps. The closeup picture with the loop part (the bail) of the rose gold pendant showing, is after 3 weeks of the normal wear and tear I described without cleaning it. It’s a great value for the price, and since it’s plated with 24k gold, it looks real and feels right on your skin.

I chose this because I have an upcoming event that the outfit I've chosen for it has lots of gold and all my daily jewelry is silver or white gold. I thought this would be a perfect, understated piece. It looked great and was the perfect length. I accidentally tugged it a bit when I went to take it off and the clasp broke! This was the lightest of tugs. I certainly wasn't expecting a lifelong masterpiece of fine jewelry at this price point, but I did expect it to last more than the 5 mins I wore it!! If it was the jump ring, I could at least fix that, but this is the clasp and it's not worth taking it somewhere to repair/replace it. What a bummer.

This chain has a beautiful wheat braid pattern. It's well made and feels good around my neck. The clasp is strong and sturdy as well. My only issue with it is that is entirely too yellow. I have plenty of gold, fake gold, and gold plated chains. This color looks like none of them. It looks a little like the color of "toy" plastic gold chains. It's such a pity because besides the color, it's a really nice chain.

At first, this necklace looked great, it had a nice shine and the size/length were just what I was hoping for. The design is beautiful, and it definitely had a premium look to it when I first wore it. It did seem like it was a decent value. However, after just a couple of weeks of use, I started to notice the gold coating peeling off, especially in areas where it was more exposed to friction. It’s already beginning to discolor, which was really disappointing. While I understand this is fashion jewelry, I expected it to last longer than just a couple of weeks before showing signs of wear, so this isn't very durable. For the price, I guess you get what you pay for, but I would have hoped for better durability. I can’t say I’d recommend it if you're looking for something that will hold up over time.
