I mainly bought it because it came with pliers and tweezers and needed to fix my necklace clasp. It works perfectly fine. Contrary to other reviews, mine didn’t come spilled but I did mistakenly open it upside down so it spilled a bit but that was my fault. Overall a great product to repair jewelry. It’s pretty easy to use. Because this is my first use, I cannot speak to its tarnish resistance but that isn’t something that really bothers me because the necklace I bought in itself was cheap and so the clasp already tarnished but with so many replacements, I don't believe the clasps/rings losing color should be an issue. Update: The clasps do in fact tarnish rather quickly. I've only had mine on about a few days and have actually only worn the necklace it's on about twice and it's already turning black. Again, this isn't an issue for me since people won't see the clasp and there's so many replacements. ... show more

I've been using these to make jewelry & the durability with the larger one are weak. They are easy to open but the strongest jump rings are the smallest ones. Not to much tarnishing. But a good value for everything that comes with it.

I give 3 stars. As I was opening the package , I noticed a full broken case leaving a hole in it so parts were more likely to been lost 😠. The two pieces of tape i pulled off plastic storage container was used to tape over the broken hole left in it. Jump rings appear to be nice and strong.
