This is a package with a number of strings of red-colored, highly reflective plastic pearls that are connected along a string. The string is gossimer-like and visually delicate yet remarkably strong and effective at securing the beads together without fear of breakage. The thread is thin enough to be almost unnoticeable, and each bead is fixed on it securely in place such that no bead would slip or break off. They seem to be seamlessly connected as a single stranded line. The exact number of strands (24) was accurately supplied in a rather compact celaphane package.

I bought the beads to use as a vase filler for centerpieces for my 1-year old’s birthday party. I got the gold ones for our rose and gold theme. They came pretty quickly in a tiny package and were very lightweight. The material seemed like cheap plastic at close inspection and it was very small so I worried about how they would look. On their own, they seem really sparse floating in the water so I added some pink tulle at the bottom of the vase to create more depth and character and then filled the vase with water and topped it with a floating flameless candle. It turned out beautiful. It was simple yet elegant and guests were raving about the decor. We also placed them across the middle of the tables along with some string confetti and it looked minimalistic and elegant. They’re pretty inexpensive so I was able to toss them after use but they were durable enough to reuse if you want to. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised at how well they turned out and how versatile they could be for use not just as base fillers but as table runners and even just as accents around the food and tables or hanging off of the balloons. They were super light so easy to stick down with regular tape. Will definitely buy again.
