These snow shoes are as described. When I bought them, I didn't have experience snow showing. I recommend renting snow shoes before buying so you have idea what features you like. These shoes perform well. I thought the buckle would be easier to is use. It's easy to tighten down the staps, but I struggle with the intial threading the buckle through. Easy to put on, easy to fit over boots or hiking boots. Only used once but stayed tight and firm on shoes, work excellent. If this changes I will further review. So far they held up and seem sturdy.
