    • Got Way Too Hot When Used with My iPhone
I bought this USB C charger block hoping it would be a reliable fast charger for my iPhone but after using it, the charger got extremely hot, which made me a bit nervous. The compact design is nice and it doesn’t take up much space on the outlet. Having both USB-A and USB-C ports is super convenient because I can charge two devices at once, which is handy for home or travel. It’s supposed to work with all kinds of phones and tablets including the latest iPhones and Samsung devices. The fast charging is definitely faster than a standard charger, and I like that it supports different cables without issues. The safety features like temperature control and overcurrent protection sound good on paper, but the fact that it got so hot worries me. I’m not sure if that’s normal or if I just got a faulty unit. It does have an intelligent chip to prevent power surges and overheating, so I was expecting better performance in that area. Overall, the idea is great and it works well charging two devices at the same time, but I wish it didn’t get so hot when plugged in. If you decide to get it, just keep an eye on it when charging your phone. ... show more
