Individually wrapped syringes, accurate mL measurements
Size: 30 Count (Pack of 1)
This is a bulk box of 30 single-use syringes, individually wrapped in peel-open sterile packaging. Measuring lines are clearly marked and measure in 1mL increments, with 5, 10, 15, and 20mL labelled for ease of measuring when loading or dispensing, though the syringes I received do not have the 1/4 or 1/2 markings shown in the listing's photo. Probably not a big deal, but it's worth noting the discrepancy. To verify accuracy I loaded one syringe with water up to the 20mL line and dispensed it into a measuring cup to confirm that the total volume was 20mL. The syringe drew and plunged easily; the plunger can also be fully removed from these syringes which may be helpful depending on your use. When I give my cats oral meds I layer them in the syringe from the top rather than drawing it up. This lets me squirt a layer of plain wet food down into to the first third of a syringe, then I add the med on top of that, mix just a little bit of food into it, and then add another layer of plain food up to the top of the syringe. Then add the plunger and the medicated "parfait" is ready to go! I've found this allows for low-stress and pain-free administration of meds. Note: if you're looking at these syringes for a pet's oral meds, the threaded luer lock tips are considerably wider than a slip tip syringe so you may want to opt for a syringe with a thinner tip. Overall, this product does just about everything you'd need a syringe to do!
