I like the thick pages that have a softer tone. They are easy on the eyes for us older folk. The printing is a bit light, but definitely readable. Again, this is probably in keeping the pages soft to look at, One reviewer mentioned that it does not have glued on month tabs, however the month "tabs" printed on every page seem to work almost as well for me as the glued on tabs, and they allow the pages to be a little larger for the roughly 8" x 5" size cover. I double checked that the dates were correct, as I have seen reviews for other inexpensive Chinese manufactured planners that had the dates or days of the week wrong.
