Solid bat
Style: -5 | 31" / 26oz
The media could not be loaded. My 11yr old love hitting after he got this bat. It's make a good sound with the ball pop and feels evenly balanced. It has an excellent grip. The most best important it can be used in PG games. He has been using more than a month and he enjoys it every time. The quality seems good so far. Worth buying it. I am impressed that Amazon made it available and delivered in time. ... show more

Poor quality
Style: -8 | 31" / 23oz
Made it ten games into season before bat died. Rattles internally despite no external cracks. 12u batter broke it without great bat speed. Lesson learned. Replacement bad is a real brand.

Don’t buy
Style: -10 | 30" / 20oz
Bat is dead. Brand new and he started his season and his coach won’t even let him use it cause it’s dead. Worst part is I missed the return window (cause he didn’t use it yet to know) so I’m out 3 bills.

Great Bat
Style: -8 | 30" / 22oz
So far, so good. My son is 10 and this was the next step from a drop 10 to a drop 8 that we decided on. It's been durable in the 6 weeks so far and the delivery was smooth and a couple of days ahead of schedule too.

The media could not be loaded. I haven’t even had this bat for a year and it’s cracked and is now rattling.

Solid bat for contact hitter
Style: -8 | 30" / 22oz
Bat has unique design. My son likes the way it looks. My boy is 12 and is a contact hitter. We have used Marucci cat 9’s and X’s up until this point. This past season he has hit the fence at times, but can’t quite harness the power to give it the little extra he needs to get it over the fence. His cat x was 2 years old and I figured it was time for a new bat. We bought a 30 in drop 8. The bat hits hard and is well balanced, however didn’t give him the push I thought it would to get it over the fence . Could be because he went from a drop 10 to a drop 8, however I am of the opinion from my eye test that this bat doesn’t have the pop that the Hype or Icon has, at least when it comes to guys that hit solid line drives for contact. If I had it to do over again, I would have purchased him another 1 piece cat x as I believe it provides more pop and a bigger sweet spot . With all that being said, I can’t say that I’m disappointed with the purchase of the soldier tank. Still a solid bat that hits hard and seems to be durable . ... show more
