After seeing great reviews on Creality’s E3V3 SE printer I thought I would try one. Wow am I impressed. Of the ender 3 series printers I’ve owned since 2018, this was by far the easiest and fastest printer to assemble and do a first print with. 10 screws and plugging in 3 connectors and set the power supply to 115v I use, and it was ready to print with. It has auto z offset and auto leveling. These are the 2 most critical settings many have trouble getting set correctly. Now it’s as simple as selecting it and pushing the display knob. It also has dual Z belt synchronized rods that keep the print head level its full travel. Even better, it comes with a dual gear direct drive extruder that can print soft flexible tpu filament with ease. I print soft cat toys a lot so a big plus. Speed wise it can print up to 250 mm/ sec with 180 being best quality. Typical ender 3 speeds have been 50 mm/ sec in the past so this is a big plus! It comes with the new Creality Print slicer program and other useful files on full a size sd card vs the typical mini version. So much easier to use. Also USB C that is also a big plus when you want to connect it to your computer or wireless printing interface devices. There are some great in depth reviews to watch on YouTube that go into all the features. As an owner of Creality printers since 2018 I can honestly recommend the E3V3 SE printer as a great first printer, or a fourth one as it is in my case. It’s easy to assemble and use and just “works”! Assembly takes literal minutes. Setup is easy and fast with the auto Z offset. I would recommend buying the bundle with the additional PEI sheet because the included polycarbonate sheet is a little too sticky at times. As soon as you put this together (just a few screws, takes no more than 15 minutes), you'll be a printing fool! This printer makes it that easy. My 12 year old grandson got this for Christmas and he is having a ball with it. Get this, you won't be disappointed.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve only had this printer for a short time, but I have thrown multiple prints at it and had zero issues with it. The unboxing and assembly took about 15-20mins. I will start by saying that the assembly was just the gantry; a few cable connections later, and you are all set. There is a video and installation guide provided by Creality, which are helpful. I cannot believe that assembly took just 15 minutes. I am coming from an Ender 3 V2, which requires additional assembly and typically takes about an hour and thirty minutes. The auto-calibration and the auto-z offset required no intervention from me, so this was the perfect definition of plug-and-play. After setting up the printer, I said, “The caveat is going to be a sub-par print performance.” However, that caveat never came, and the printer has been flawless. The benchy/boat stl file on the USB flash drive was printed for me in 20 minutes, and the quality was absolutely acceptable for how comically fast it printed. Next, I decided to try another print that requires a bit of accuracy, a jointed reindeer. I did it at the same speed as the benchy, and it was done in 1 hour 21 minutes versus 3 hours 45 mins on the Ender V2. The reindeer printed at an acceptable quality, and all limbs worked without issue. I used the Creality Print high-quality profile for my last test print to print a bust. The bust finished in just 5 hours and 25 mins. I printed the same bust on my Ender 3 v2, and it took about 9 hours and 33 minutes. Overall, I know it’s pretty early, and I will update this review if anything crazy happens with the printer, but this is my favorite purchase of the year. The media could not be loaded. I come from an Ender 3 Pro, and I loved it. And this is just a complete upgrade from that. Very high build quality. Really feels like next Gen. And it's open for upgrades and tweaks although it doesn't need it in my opinion. A) 15 minute assembly vs 3 hours for Ender 3 pro B) Very quiet compared to ender 3 pro. C) I have only printed at 300 and it's just ridiculous. Look at the video I posted. It's not even comparable to ender 3 pro. A print on Ender 3 Pro that was 3 days, is only 16 hours on this. About 3x faster at 300mm. I'm sure it's even faster at 500 but it already shakes the table and feels nuts how fast it is. D) Direct print over lan from my computer. Direct print from phone using the app over cloud. No more SD card! E) Upgrade option for all gimmicks like AI camera and Lidar which I will not do. They don't work. Well camera is good for remote monitoring but it has to be the Creality brand and that one has night vision too. Highly recommended! ... show more

The Creality Ender 3 V3 KE lives up to its description and features. I am amazed at the speed and print quality. The Creality cloud print is a handy feature allowing you to slice and print wirelessly. The direct drive extruder is amazing and handled printing a T-Rex with tpu filament at 150mm/sec.

The media could not be loaded. At least 50-60% of parts fail. They either get knocked off the bed or they never stick. The hotend fan died after a few hours of printing. The ceramic heater died after only a few days. I tried to remove it, but they press-fit the heatbreak into the cooling block! This is just senseless manufacturing! The whole point of a grub screw is to avoid doing that! I own a few other printers. There is always a bit of tinkering involved. I really enjoy doing that, but this is more of a nightmare! I definitely do not recommend this printer to anyone who values their time! ... show more
