We chose the 33/30 Gunner based on the Baseball Bat Bros recommendation that it's the best two-piece hybrid for power hitters that doesn't have the durability problems of The Goods. The Gunner is impressive. My son has taken several hundred swings in both batting cage and open field BP. When he squares up the ball, the Gunner launches it. Plenty of home run power in this bat.     • Beware! This is not the 2024 model! UPDATE
Albeit this is a nice deal at $69.99 for the 33-30, this product is falsely advertised as the 2024 model when in fact it is the 2022 model. A bit disappointing, since I was going to gift it to my high school son for Christmas. UPDATE We attempted to keep the bat and give it a shot since the price was so good. The original grip was extremely slippery so I tossed a Lizard Skin on it. After 2 BP sessions, the bat we received must be a dead one, as it has terrible pop and a very weird sound. On top of that, it's stinging his hands on almost every hit, including the meat of the barrel. We decided to return it ... show more

This Bat is absolutely beautiful. It feels super durable and when Bat Bros reviewed this bat, it was out performing every other bat in the line up. Lots of Pop, worth the money. This is the 2nd bat I’ve ordered from Closeout Bats. First one was the Nuke 2. Never any issues.
